Lemosho Route Overview
The Lemosho Route is widely considered the most scenic and best route for acclimatization on Kilimanjaro. Starting from the remote western Londorossi Gate, this 8-day trek offers pristine wilderness, fewer crowds on the early days, and the highest success rate of all routes.
Why Choose Lemosho
Lemosho's longer duration allows excellent acclimatization, resulting in a 90%+ summit success rate. The first two days pass through untouched rainforest with potential wildlife sightings (colobus monkeys, elephants). The route joins the Machame path at Shira Plateau, offering 360-degree panoramic views.
